Pastors Ed & Dolly McGuigan started Connections Church to be a church for people who are just getting started with church... a church for people who have given up on church, and a church for people who don’t want to go to “church!”
Connections is a new church and it is growing, both with people and enthusiasm. Pastor Ed says: "We don't have to be large to be effective -- at every stage of our growth we can effectively help people who need to experience the love of God."
"It is our mission to take the love of Jesus to people in the community who are often overlooked. For instance, we have a growing commitment to provide real and substantive help to single mothers and people who are struggling with real life issue.". Pastor Ed totally believes Jesus sees people through the eyes of His grace, and is fond of saying: "God doesn't focus on your failures, He
Pastors Ed & Dolly McGuigan focuses on your recovery!"
Ed loves to communicate God's Word so that it is understandable and motivating. In his own words: "I understand that a lecture is information passing from the notebook of the professor into the notebook of the student without passing through the mind of either! Messages from God's Word must connect to both the mind and the heart, and so it is my ambition to see God's Word come alive so that, at the end of the day, we are moved to "do more" not simply "know more."
Dolly is a gifted worship leader, and her passionate leadership on Sunday mornings naturally creates an opportunity to experience the intimate presence of God. She has a unique way of weaving biblical truths, personal stories and an enthusiastic approach to God into a movement of worship that leaves every attendee wanting more.

| Connections Church Is Non-Denominational |
We are a non-denominational church. This means we are not affiliated with any denomination. We are not anti-denominational, but the division that often occurs in the body of Christ over denominational distinctives leaves us sorry for a world that must wonder why Christians appear to be so divided. At Connections our focus is on the love and grace of God and His desire for all men, women and children to experience Him in His fullness!
Purpose Statement Connections Church exists to passionately love God (the Great Commandment) and to intentionally help people know Him (the Great Commission).
Mission
To connect unchurched people in northern Cincinnati to the love of God in Christ and to those who already know Him.
Vision

Statement Of Faith
If you want to know what we believe, read this; if you want to see what we believe, visit us this Sunday! |
1. There is one God1 who is infinitely perfect2 existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit3 [1] Deuteronomy 6:4, [2] Matthew 5:48, [3] Matthew 28:19
2. Jesus Christ is God the Son who came to this world in human flesh (fully God and fully man).4 He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.5 He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice,6 and all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood.7 He arose from the dead according to the Scriptures.8 He is now at the right hand of the heavenly Father as our great High Priest.9 [4] Philippians 2:6–11, [5] Luke 1:34–38, [6] Hebrews 2:9, [7] Romans 5:9, [8] Acts 2:23–24, [9] Hebrews 8:1
3. The Holy Spirit is God,10 sent to indwell, guide, teach and empower the believer.11 He convinces the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.12 [10] Acts 5:3-4; Hebrews 9:14 [11] John 16:13, Acts 1:8, [12] John 16:7–11
4. The Bible (God’s Word), inerrant as originally given by God, was divinely inspired and is a complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of men. It is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and practice.13 [13] 2 Peter 1:20–21, 2 Timothy 3:15–16
5. Man is sinful14 and was separated from the life of God by sin. He can only be reunited with God through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.15 [14] Romans 3:23, [15] 1 Corinthians15:20–23; John 14:6
6. Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life, and become the children of God.16 [16] Titus 3:4–7
7. The Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, 17 which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world as a witness, preaching the gospel to all nations.18 The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are joined together for the worship of God, for edification through the Word of God, for prayer, fellowship, the proclamation of the gospel, and observance of the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.19 [17] Ephesians 1:22–23, [18] Matthew 28:19–20, [19] Acts 2:41–47
8. There shall be a bodily resurrection of the just and of the unjust; for the former, a resurrection unto life;20 for the latter, a resurrection unto judgment.21 [20] 1 Corinthians 15:20–23, [21] John 5:28–29)
9. The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ will be personal, visible, and premillennial.22 [22] Luke 21:27 Matthew 24:26, 30-31
